Dr. Truc Nguyen

divider

Dr. Truc “Tru” Nguyen, MD, IFMCP, is a Family Medicine and Integrative Functional Medicine physician and a Certified Practitioner from the Institute for Functional Medicine, with advanced training in integrative, regenerative, and functional medicine. She is the founder of Conscious Medicine, a highly rated integrative practice specializing in women’s health, gut health, hormone optimization, cognitive health, and root-cause resolution — and of Conscious Regenerative Medicine, a clinic dedicated to reversing chronic illness, degeneration, and aging by pairing root-cause functional medicine with cutting-edge regenerative therapies.

Dr. Nguyen began her career as a traditional family medicine doctor, and grew frustrated with a system that managed symptoms instead of solving them. Fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, mood shifts, sleeplessness – she could see these issues ran deeper than a 15-minute appointment could ever address. So she changed everything. Today her work lives at the intersection of hormones, brain health, metabolism, and gut health –  because these systems don’t operate in silos, and neither should a patient’s care.  Her commitment is personal. At 30, Dr. Nguyen was medically induced into menopause, and she knows this territory from the inside — what it feels like to wonder if you’re losing yourself, and what it takes to come back stronger. She has since guided more than 1,000 women through hormone challenges, autoimmune conditions, gut health, perimenopause, and postmenopause using a whole-body, root-cause approach that goes far beyond hormone replacement. Her areas of focus include perimenopause and postmenopause, hormone optimization, HRT/BHRT, thyroid health, adrenal and cortisol dysregulation, metabolic health, brain fog, insomnia, insulin resistance, the gut-hormone connection, and women’s longevity. For women who feel like something is off  and who are tired of being told their labs are “normal” –  Dr. Nguyen offers a different path.
